Facebook × Giants × Google × Google+ × googlenew × Social Networking
Google+ is based on a radically different approach from the old Google Buzz, the automatic linking function caused a big scandal last year. With Google+ Circles, Google proposes to carefully select which of your contacts, see your profile. Unlike Facebook, which tends to confuse all your "friends" in a large bath that is very difficult to manage the new Google network allows you to organize your contacts in Google groups ("circles") that you create. When you share your personal content, you can choose exactly what circles of friends will have access. Yes, Google Circles + is very similar to the civil aspects of Diaspora and will probably avoid a few gaffes. It will also facilitate the sharing, given that we can communicate its status or content directly to a group of friends from all Google sites, using the new black toolbar that you have probably noticed.
Google+ comes with a more complete messaging system
Who uses Facebook messages? It seems not many people . If the social network was unable to repeat his success with the mail tool of its instant messaging, a competitor like Google+ could successfully do the opposite. Google offers two innovations that go in that direction.
First, allows the user to Click on a mobile, open a chat group with all your friends from the same circle. Ideally, according to Google, to organize an outing at the last minute ...
On the other hand, it will be possible to start video chats very easily : a member creates a "bubble" video chat, and friends are then free to join once the bubble is active. A principle similar to that of Tiny-chat, popular with young people. The ideal social network for mobile phones? Google + will soon be available on Android will and soon for any IOS devices. And perhaps in this way that the company is more likely to impose its new social network. The mobile version of Google + includes most functions of the Web version and adds some specific features for smart phones.
First, a location-based news feeds to receive news from friends in the vicinity. But "who,
what, when, how, where" (phew!), Which is a little Facebook house seats. This tool allows you to post your position with content.
Most innovative, Instant Upload automatically sends a private space that you make the pictures with your mobile and share them more easily later.
While Google is attractive and practical Google+, will have to avoid the empty shell syndrome that now affects Buzz. It will have to Convince regular Facebook users to share content on a new social network and switch to it, and that will not be an easy task: it is difficult to convince users to give up old habits. Oh no! Facebook flows are unlikely to be integrated into Google +! If Google + is well made and has functions for some practical and innovative services , it nevertheless remains that there is not much new in this mix of services comparing to Facebook.
Facebook × Geohot × Giants × Hacker × Playstation × PS3 × Social Networking × Sony
George "Geohot" Hotz, who pioneered iPhone jailbreaking with the first iPhone jailbreak ever, and whose most recent appearance in the news came when he and Sony settled out of court after Geohot published the PlayStation 3's root keys, has gone legit: he's taken a job with Facebook.
The news is confirmed, although with little fanfare, via a post by Hotz on his Facebook page, which says, "is Facebook is really an amazing place to work...first hackathon over."
Rumors are that Hotz is working on the long-awaited Facebook app for the iPad, which has been reported to be coming, at long last. The latest reports are that the app is just weeks away. It's unclear if Hotz' reference to a "hackathon" has to do with him working on app security, or something else.
In addition to his 2007 hack of the original iPhone, Hotz created the Black Ra1n jailbreak for iOS 3.1.2, which became one of the most popular jailbreaks for the iPhone and that release of iOS.
It's just another example of hackers going legitimate, and shows that corporations know that the talent needed for many hacks can be translated into productive work for their corporate coffers. Another prime example is that of Kevin Mitnick, once the most wanted computer criminal in the United States, who is now a respected computer security consultant.
It's for this reason that DEFCON, once a shunned hacker conference, is now regularly attended by the feds and by police groups, searching for "talent." This year's DEFCON 19 conference will feature a DEFCON Kids event, as well, teaching kids to hack in a "white hat" way.

Facebook × facebook hacker × Indian Hacker × News
The Indian arm of a hacker group 'Anonymous' - called Anonymous Operation India - has been removed from Facebook and Twitter. Both the 'Operation India' Facebook page and '@operationindia' Twitter handle are no more accessible.
'Anonymous' is a 'hacktivist' group that has been linked to the recent attack on Sony as well as against the governments of Iran, Spain, New Zealand and Colombia. Their operations started in India recently and came into the limelight when they claimed to have hacked the National Informatics Centre website and the Indian Army website last week .
The NIC site on the URL http://informatics.nic.in/oldnewsonline/abc.html was defaced with graffiti that said: "We exist without nationality. We exist with humanity. NIC took 3 mins."
In a similar hack, the Indian Army's website was reportedly taken down for about an hour. According to www.hackernews.com, the hackers also released password/ login information and forensic logs of indianarmy.nic.in. The Denial of Service (DoS) attack reportedly did not harm the site and there was no data loss. The site also quotes a message from them that states, "We took Down Indian Army Official Site and NIC knows more what we did."

When we first heard of this, we figured either the woman involved was somewhat obsessed with Facebook (i.e., nuts), or it was a stunt. Apparently, it was a stunt.
The media was all over this story of YouTube user Suzyj87, who purported videotaped the process of having her arm tattooed with the photos of her 152 Facebook friends. First, it seemed sketchy because most people's Facebook friends list is not static. Second, while it's possible someone could be this obsessive in this Facebook-crazy world, it's hard to believe anyone would be that crazy.

Facebook allows organizations and business to create what they call “Fan” pages. In reality, these are Facebook accounts that are not tied to one individual, but represent a larger group or business. Of course, as any Facebook user knows, Fan pages can be used for more than just music groups, companies, or clubs – as the ever-popular “When I was your age we had to blow on video games to make them work” Fan page proves.

- These sites allow you to send and receive messages, upload photos, and videos. As such, they are very interactive as you can get to see what your friends and relatives are up-to.
- With social networking sites, you are not bound by any geographical and cultural differences. You can get to meet and know a variety of people whose interests are similar to your own. These sites are a window to various different cultured people and places.
Cons of Social Networking Sites:
- Due to these sites you won’t find yourself lost among billions of websites, but it can also be taken advantage of by the wrong sort of people.
- The seamlessly harmless chat rooms where it is advertised for kids to make new friends, there is no way of knowing if you are talking to a 16 years girl, or 60 years old-man especially when the user is using anonymous names and profile pics. This is one of the biggest dangers to be aware of.
- The other main drawback is the lack of censoring.
- Parents need to learn about precautions as children of any age can end up downloading pornography or other violent and unsuitable images.
- It is positively unexpected for images and sites like these to be made available to people of any age without proper warning etc.

What is a Poke?
A poke is a facebook application that has been added to every account on facebook. On your homepage, a small box on the right hand side (See Image) called “Pokes” is visible if anyone has poked you. The pokes are nothing but small images of a hand with a finger pointing, and displays the person’s name who sent the poke to you.

The pokes are nothing but small images of a hand with a finger pointing, and displays the person’s name who sent the poke to you.
Pokes can be just a way to say hello / hi to anybody on Facebook. You can send pokes to anyone, not just your friends and anyone can poke you as well.
To poke someone, go to the person’s Facebook profile page and click on the “Poke” link beneath his or her profile picture. You’ll get a pop-up message asking for confirmation. Once confirmed, the poke is sent.
If someone pokes you, you can also poke them back or hide the poke. If you hide the poke, it disappears forever.
Private Profile Access
When you send a poke to someone on Facebook, that person will be able to view your basic information, work information, and education information on your profile. This occurs even if your profile is set to private and the person you have poked is not on your friends list. However, this profile access is temporary.
If you want to view private profiles on facebook. Just poke the person whose profile you want to see. If that person pokes you back, you will get the chance to see basic information, work information, and education information from his / her profile.
Facebook × Mark Zuckerberg × Social Networking
We already discussed Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s 2011 personal challenge, which is killing everything that he eats this year. We would be remiss, however, if we missed out on online news site NMA News’ SIMs-style video take on the issue.
Here’s what the site says:
An interview with Fortune magazine reveals that Mark Zuckerberg likes to personally kill his own food.Zuckerberg says that killing his own meat allows him to fully appreciate the animals he eats.Zuckerberg developed the dietary habit after roasting a pig at his house. His guests winced at the sight.A Silicon Valley chef has introduced Zuckerberg to area farms where Zuckerberg has slaughtered chickens, goats and pigs.Everyone should learn more about where their meat comes from. Perhaps Zuckerberg can educate the public via Farmville.
Take a look and enjoy the video.
